Hi! I’m Logan Canter. I was born and raised in Macon, Georgia and have lived in the Columbus, Ohio area for a few years. Believe it or not, becoming an artist was not my original plan as a career. It was the result of a happy accident involving an error in my high school schedule that placed me in an advanced art class. That one mix-up changed the course of my entire life! After high school, I attended the University of West Georgia where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting. My parents worried how I would support myself as an artist. I mean, the phrase “starving artist” was coined for a reason! Things always have a way of working out and I have had the most amazing opportunities in my life. I have been commissioned to paint murals, canvas recreations from personal photographs, painted family pets, painted newly purchased homes for realtor gifts, and now live event paintings.

A romantic at heart, my dream job as a young girl was to be a wedding planner. I love weddings and have been planning my dream wedding for as long as I can remember. As I mentioned above, I fell in love with painting and set my sights on pursuing an art degree. Shortly after graduating college, I stumbled across a video of an artist doing a live painting of a wedding. Talk about my ultimate dream job! And the rest, as they say, is history…

I have a passion for creating art full of emotion and I would love to do that for you. For every subject I paint, I like to have a deep understanding of who they are. Whether painting your love story, special event, or your family pets, it is important to me the feelings I capture on the canvas are authentic to the point of being almost tangible.
